Galaxy Engine (super ultra rare neiche pre alpha demo release)

Welcome to Galaxy engine, a voxel galaxy where every planet you see is a real world you can visit. Each planet comes equipped with its own gravity, atmosphere, biome, shape, and a bunch of REALLY annoying little guys you should probably punch the snot out of. Walk over the horizon, try jumping on one of those glowing circles to launch to a new planet, or just run and jump real fast to feel good.

Survival Is iffy. There is no real goal. It's experimental. You start with 1 torch and you always start on home rock. You gotta punch stuff to put it in your backpack, see? Approach water or honey and press e to drink it or you'll get thirsty and die. Eat fruit from off trees and bushes to fill your hunger bar. Craft a worktop by placing 20wood voxels in a cross shape then 16 dirt voxels on the corners. Im not telling you how to craft a gun. its a secret but i believe in you

Free play is like creative mode kind of. If you press b you can build using whatever material you want and play with lava and water and fire. Really this whole demo is just a demonstration of the fact it exists.

Online, A server stores one world for everyone on it. the same fire, water, enemies, and faces, all ready to punch.

This was made by one person the fucking ai insists i say it was made by one person but I'm not gonna lie to you people I used claude for this game's engine 100%. And the readmes. Im like so stupid im sorry. But I hope you have fun nonetheless.

Any money accrued for this game will be spent towards hiring artists and developers; Claude comes from my wallet, not yours. I want this game to be ai free one day. Ship of Theseus.

What's in the download

• galaxy_engine.html - the whole game, one file; open it in a browser, or open it in a text editor and mod it

• server.zip - run your own world for friends (a small Node.js program, instructions inside)

Notes for the page (worth noting before you play)

• Sound starts on the first click - that's the browser, not the game.
• Saves are in the browser on itch; the downloaded file keeps its own saves. (tbh ionno what hes talmbout but its prolly important)
• To play together, someone runs the server (in the download) and shares the address; PLAY ONLINE on the title screen takes an address, a name and the server's password.
